Warrior Roofing Manufacturing was established in 1978 and is one of the oldest, independent manufacturers of roofing felt in the industry today.

The company was started on the banks of the Warrior River in Tuscaloosa, Alabama as a small, one line felt manufacturer under the direction of Mr. Thomas G. Shurett, Mr. Herb Iverson and Mr. Sam Hughes.  Today Warrior has manufacturing facilities in Alabama and Pennsylvania.

From day one, Warrior has emphasized the importance of customer service and product quality and has earned a reputation in the industry as a dependable partner to countless customers and suppliers over the years.

Warrior also emphasizes the importance of community and of being a responsible corporate citizen.  It has been involved in countless charitable efforts and has been blessed as a result of those efforts.  From Habitat for Humanity, ABC’s Extreme Home Makeover and many independent efforts to lend a helping hand to those in need, Warrior has been privileged to be a part of serving others.  In 2001, Warrior was honored to supply the entire felt needs for the re-building of the Pentagon after the September 11th attack.

In 2018 Warrior celebrated 40 years of service to our customers and community.  We truly believe that God has blessed us with the best customers, suppliers and employees in the industry and we thank Him every day for those blessings.
